I was there and was dissapointed at how quiet the Ferraris were-apparently they must have added mufllers after the initial tests in 2011. They were so muffled that you could almost here the air whistling as they passed by by. The street 458 Italia I saw a few months ago made way more noise than the Grand-Am version!

With a front mid-engine configuration, Panoz was a no-brainer to get on board. But with Gurney the pipe dream gets legs. I hope it turns in as well as his AAR IMSA Eagles. I'm still baffled by the physics of it, how the car will turn in in slow corners where downforce is insignificant. Hope they test it out west at Infineon or Laguna Seca. If so, I'll be there.
