Fernando Alonso: Driver of the Year

"Having a better car" does not translate to "work less hard". This article is biased and does not come from a 360 degree view. I would like to give more credit to Massa for his self-scarification in a the last few races, who was not mentioned at all. F2012 is not the fasted in the grid but is better than last year and better than most of teams in the race (the only problem is the qualification). I agree Alonso is a great driver but Drive of the Year is always the champion no matter what.

Kimi finished 3rd, just behind Alonso, with a car that had a lot less money than Ferrari. He was consistent finishing every race, no DNFs! This after being out F1 for 2 years! He is certainly more deserving of Driver of the Year than FA.
