Michael Lewis of Noblesville, Ind. captured Saturday night's 40-lap "DuWayne Starr Classic" at the Stockton 99 (Calif.) Speedway, leading all 40 laps of the Western Sprint Car race in his Western Speed Racing Eagle/Wesmar.

Lewis, who also won Friday's USAC National Sprint Car race at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, emerged as the leader in the Western Sprint Car Series, 18 points ahead of Jeff Gardner going into a June 14 race at Tucson, Ariz.
