Four-time USAC Western Midget Car Champion Robby Flock of Murrieta, Calif. won Saturday night's 30-lap feature event at Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif. The win was his third of the season and second in a row at the 3/8-mile dirt Hanford oval. It was also his 47th career Western Midget Car feature win, second on the all-time career list.

Flock and his Weldway, Inc./Paul Oil Company Eagle/Riolo led all 30 laps of the USAC/BCRA co-sanctioned race to beat Bud Kaeding, Steve Paden, Mike Spencer and Danny Ebberts.

Paden's finish solidified his lead in the Western Midget Car standings. He now leads Jerome Rodela by 97 points going into a November 22 race at Tucson (Ariz.) Raceway Park.

Josh Wise, third in the series standings, was the fastest qualifier at Hanford but failed to finish the feature.
