IT COULD HAPPEN AT "TURKEY NIGHT GRAND PRIX"

This year's "Turkey Night Grand Prix" could witness the crowning of 19 champions in a single night! Eighteen of those are assured, while the other is a possibility. The event is slated Thursday night, November 27, at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, Calif.

Driving and Car Entrant Champions in USAC's 2008 Mopar National Midget Series, Western Midget Series, Western Sprint Series and California Ford Focus Pavement Series, as well as the 2008 USAC Ford Focus National Champions will all be recognized following the final event of each series.

In addition, the Midget contest is the final of three to determine this year's "Toyota Challenge" champion, the car owner earning the most USAC points in two races at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Ind. and the November 27 race.

Three drivers will be crowned champions of the 2008 Earl's Fast Qualifier Championships in the National and Western Midget and Western Sprint series.

USAC's "Super License" champion will also be crowned after the 98-lap Midget race, the driver who earned the most USAC National feature event points during 2008.

Also, each race winner will be crowned a 2008 "Turkey Night Grand Prix" champion by virtue of his feature triumph.

Lastly, Tracy Hines hopes to become USAC's sixth "Triple Crown" champion by clinching the National Midget title. He already owns championships in the USAC Silver Crown and National Sprint series.

That adds up to 19 total championships up for grabs on what promises to be a historic night of racing in Southern California.
