INDIANAPOLIS (May 9, 2007) -- For Tony Stewart Racing's (TSR) Levi Jones and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., this Saturday's USAC National Midget Car Series race at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., will provide a much needed dose of familiarity. Both drivers have made several appearances at the 1/4-mile high-banked oval in their career and this weekend's one-day event will provide the duo with an opportunity to give TSR, Chevrolet and Bass Pro Shops their first USAC Midget victory of the year.

Jones has been a frequent flyer at Tri-State Speedway since he made his USAC Racing debut in 1998. Hailing from nearby Olney, Ill., Jones cut his teeth at the speedway, as he was a regular at the track early in his career. He has competed in several divisions at the facility, including the USAC National Sprint Car Series, the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Series and the Midwest Sprint Car Series. This Saturday's event will mark Jones' first appearance in a USAC Midget at Tri-State Speedway.

Stenhouse, Jr., is also set to make his first USAC Midget appearance at Tri-State on Saturday. The 19-year-old has competed at the facility on several different occasions, including in a WoO Sprint Car and in the All Star Circuit of Champions. This Saturday's USAC Midget event will mark Stenhouse, Jr.'s, second start since he was named as interim driver for TSR's Tracy Hines, who was injured in an off-road motorcycle accident last week.

Jones enters this weekend's event ranked fifth in the USAC Midget championship standings with 74 points. He trails series leader Darren Hagen by only 27 points.

Tri-State Speedway is located 16 miles north of Evansville, Ind., on U.S. Hwy 14. Race fans can pre-purchase tickets for this Saturday's USAC Midget event by calling 812-768-6025. Racing is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. CDT. The official website of Tri-State Speedway is www.tristatespeedway.com.

Quote from Levi Jones, driver of the No. 20 TSR/Chevrolet/Spike

You've turned a lot of laps at Tri-State Speedway in your career. The facility has had a facelift in recent years, as it was reconfigured from a 3/8-mile to a 1/4-mile facility. Is it still one of your favorite tracks to compete on?

"This Saturday's race is going to be so much fun. It's really going to give us a chance to give the fans a great show. The way the track is now, it's great for midget racing. We're going to be able to run at least two-wide, maybe three-wide, all night. Tri-State is one of my favorite racetracks. I have a lot of friends and family that will be there this weekend to support us. I ran there a lot when I was first starting out in sprint cars and it would be really cool to give Chevrolet and Bass Pro Shops their first USAC Midget Series win of the year on Saturday."

Quote from Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., driver of the No. 21 TSR/Chevrolet/Spike

Are you looking forward to getting back on the dirt this weekend as you settle in to your new role with Tony Stewart Racing?

"This weekend's race at Tri-State Speedway will definitely be a good time. I've never competed in anything but a winged sprint car at this track in the past, so it's going to be a challenge. Not only will I have to adapt to running without the wing on the dirt again, but I'm also looking forward to getting more experience in the midget. I'm trying to take the rest of this season and use is as an opportunity to learn as much as possible about non-winged sprint car and midget car racing. I am very excited to be a part of the TSR team and I hope we can put together a solid season for Chevrolet and Bass Pro Shops."
