K & N TAKES SILVER CROWN ENTITLEMENT SPONSORSHIP

K & N Engineering of Riverside, Calif., a leading manufacturer of performance air and oil filters for racing and passenger cars, is now the entitlement sponsor of USAC's prestigious Silver Crown Championship Series. Beginning with tonight's "J.D. Byrider 100" at O'Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, the series will be known as the K & N USAC Silver Crown Championship Series through 2008.

K & N has served as the "Official Oil and Air Filters" of USAC since 2003 and has also been the presenting sponsor of the Silver Crown Series the past two seasons.

K & N's contingency programs with USAC extend beyond the K & N Silver Crown Championship Series and also involve participants in USAC's National and Western Sprint Car and Midget Series, including cash bonuses presented at the end of the racing season to the series champions.

"USAC is certainly pleased to announce this extension of K & N's involvement and we look forward to our continued relationship with our valued friends," said USAC President/CEO Rollie Helmling. "This series is receiving unprecedented exposure as a result of the expansion to larger and higher-profile venues and we are excited about having K & N as a partner as we proceed into the future."

"K & N is proud of its commitment to the motorsports industry," said Charles Maier, Sports Marketing Director for K & N. Racers have come to rely on our products to win and this is one way we can show our appreciation for their support."
