RICHMOND NEXT FOR SILVER CROWN SERIES; RAIN FORCES HOOSIER HUNDRED POSTPONEMENT

Aaron Pierce of Muncie, Ind. continues to lead the K & N Engineering USAC Silver Crown Championship Series standings after Friday's "Hoosier Hundred' rainout at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.

The series resumes June 29-30 at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. Pierce hopes to improve on last year's RIR finish of 10th after losing a wheel on lap 45.

Bud Kaeding of Campbell, Calif., the defending series champion, is the defending champion at Richmond and is currently third in the 2007 standings behind Pierce and Wayne Reutimann Jr.

USAC and Track Enterprises officials are scheduled to meet Tuesday to determine a reschedule date for the 55th "Hoosier Hundred."
