REGIONAL MIDGETS AT BERLIN RACEWAY SATURDAY, NOT MORRIS

Saturday night's USAC Regional Midget race will be held at Berlin Raceway in Marne, Mich., not as announced in yesterday's release at Morris, Ill. Saturday's racing program at Grundy County Speedway in Morris includes only the USAC Midwest/UMARA Ford Focus Midgets.

Berlin Raceway has a rich tradition of USAC history and will be hosting its 34th USAC event. Recent USAC Regional races there have been won by Mario Marietta (2008) and Adam Kramer (2007).

Marietta is fourth in the current USAC Regional standings, having finished in the "top-10" the last four races.

Kyle Hamilton of Danville, Ind. is atop the points entering Saturday's race and already has two victories this year. Other series winners so far in 2009 have been Caleb Armstrong, Brian Olson, Jeremy Warren and Alison MacLeod, USAC's winningest female driver in history.

In 173 USAC races in the state of Michigan A.J. Foyt is the all-time win leader with eight. Leroy Warriner won the first USAC race in Michigan, at Grand Rapids Stadium in 1956.
