THE 'BIG HOUSE' CRANDON, WISCONSIN IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

Crandon, WI. The 'Big House' is open for testing and the newly designed track has never been faster! Turns are wider, banks are pitched and jumps are bigger just waiting to test driver skills and equipment durability. "We moved over 40,000 yards of clay and fill last fall to build a good base" said Cliff Flannery, President.

"This spring we move another 27,500 yards to cap of the track making for wider turns for better passing and banking corners to improve speed times" he adds. "The fastest lap will be set at the 2010 Brush Run June 18-20" continued Cliff, "this is the most we have done to this track ever".

This world famous track, the "Cornerstone" of off road racing has produced new record lap times year after year dating back to the legendary Walker Evans(1:20.16) driving his Good Year Dodge in 1995. Times just keep getting faster with the improvements in technology and track modifications. After 41 years of racing action, 2010 promises to be the year records are shattered!

In question is the Traxxas Launch Zone Jump record set in 1996 during the spring Brush Run by Jed Flannery driving his Goodyear sponsored Chevy 4x4 of 165.4 feet. The base of the jump is now higher and the approach speeds will be faster as the Gravel Pit Cornerhas been dramatically modified.

Record holders Rick Huseman (2009) in his record setting Toyota 4x4 sponsored by Toyo Tire and Scott Taylor (2009) in his big Ford BFG 4x2 will have to be ready to defend their titles. Testing information is available at www.crandonoffroad.com.

As he drove the track, Scott Taylor acknowledged that all records were on the table: "this has been the track to prove yourself and win on, and now it is the track to bring your best game to. This track is fast!"

Everyone is invited to bring it on as we join the TORCSeries for the Brush Run in the first USAC sanctioned event of the 2010 racing season. Racing at the Crandon International Off-Road Raceway (CIORA) for 2010 will feature a world class track, the best drivers, the most advanced machines and the biggest television package in CIORA history. Join us for the Brush Run, June 18-20th sponsored by the Forest County Potawatomi. Stay tuned, there is more to come from the 'Big House' in Crandon, WI.
