USAC Regional Midget racing occurs on two fronts this week, with another "tripleheader" at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway Wednesday night and the Regional Midgets competing at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill. Saturday.

Kyle Hamilton (Regional Midgets), Dillon Welch (Kenyon Midgets) and Joe Liguori (Midwest Ford Focuses) are the respective point leaders entering this week's races.

Brian Olson of Puyallup, Wash. led wire-to-wire to win Friday night's 30-lap USAC Regional Midget race at the Anderson Speedway. Olson and his Olson Brothers Excavating/Pro Vac Clean Systems Beast/Esslinger Ford were trailed at the checkered flag by series point leader Hamilton, Danielle Dickson, Mario Marietta and Jeremy Warren. Hamilton was the fastest qualifier.

Welch, of Indianapolis, Ind., wheeled his St. Vincent Sports Performance/VCS Yamaha to victory in Friday night's 30-lap USAC Kenyon Midget feature at the Anderson Speedway, leading all 30 laps. The win extended his point lead as he beat Grant Galloway, Jared Marks, Nick Hamilton and Jack Blackhurst. Welch scored a clean sweep, posting fast time and winning his heat.

Dalton Armstrong of New Castle, Ind. led all 30 laps of Friday night's USAC Midwest Ford Focus feature at the Anderson Speedway in the Beast Enterprises Beast/Ford Focus. Series point leader Liguori came home second, ahead of Jimmy Simpson, Katie Hargitt and Kyle Ogara. Liguori was the fastest qualifier.
