INDIANAPOLIS (November 8, 2006) -- Scott Benic and Benic Enterprises announced today that NASCAR Nextel Cup driver, J.J. Yeley, will pilot the 2B Racing/Lucas Oil Products Gaerte-powered Maxim Chassis at the 2006 Western World Nationals to be held this weekend at the Manzanita Speedway.

"We've had Mat Neely driving for us for the majority of the season, and first and foremost, I want to thank Mat and Denny for everything. I also want to thank Mat's family for all that they have done for us during 2006," stated Benic from Arizona.

"We just needed a change, both Mat and I did. Mat is a great driver, and we wish him all of the luck in the world. I am looking forward to this weekend and working with J.J. again," continued Benic.

Yeley, who attempted to compete for Benic at the 2006 Four Crown Nationals, is a former United States Auto Club (USAC) Triple Crown Champion. The 2B Racing team captured the 2005 USAC Sprint Car championship with Levi Jones behind the wheel.

According to Benic, the 2B Racing is unsure of their plans for 2007, but are preparing for their annual Benic Enterprises Open House, which will be held November 18 and 19.

The 2006 Benic Enterprises Open House will be located at 625 East Sixth Street in Fairmount, Indiana.
