CARL EDWARDS/ R.E. TECHNOLOGIES RACING AIMS FOR ANOTHER PODIUM FINISH AT IOWA SPEEDWAY

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- May 1, 2007 -- Carl Edwards/ R.E. Technologies Racing heads to Iowa Speedway this weekend's for the Casey's General Stores USAC Triple Crown, Saturday with the goal of a podium finish on their minds.

"I am real excited about the opportunity to race at Iowa Speedway for Carl Edwards/ R.E. Technologies Racing," said driver Cameron Dodson. "Hopefully we will bring home a top three finish."

In 2006, the No. 199 Ford powered Redline Oil/ Hoosier Tires C&R Chassis Silver Crown car. piloted by Peter Shepherd finished third at the inaugural USAC Silver Crown race at Iowa Speedway. This season Dodson hopes to continue the theme. In his first start in the new generation car, Cameron Dodson and the team finished third at Homestead-Miami Speedway in March. The team won the season opener at Manzanita Speedway in Phoenix, Arizona in January with Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at the wheel. The No. 199 Ford powered Redline Oil/ Hoosier Tires C&R Chassis Silver Crown entry currently sits in first place in the owner's points.

Chief Mechanic Robert Hubbard has been working hard on the No. 199 since the race at Homestead. Hubbard completely rebuilt the No. 199 Ford powered Redline Oil/ Hoosier Tires C&R Chassis Silver Crown car in preparation for the next two back to back races. The USAC Silver Crown Series presented by K&N will race Saturday May 5th at Iowa Speedway then load up and head straight to Darlington Raceway for the USAC Silver Crown Showdown on May 10th. The series will share the race weekend at Darlington with NASCAR Busch and Nextel Cup Series.

DODSON TO PULL DOUBLE DUTY

In addition to his duties behind the wheel of the No. 199 Ford powered Redline Oil/ Hoosier Tires C&R Chassis Silver Crown car. Cameron Dodson is also scheduled to compete in the USAC National Sprint Car Series portion of the Iowa Speedway schedule Saturday driving the No. 50m for Dick Meyers.

IOWA SPEEDWAY SCHEDULE

The Casey's General Stores USAC Triple Crown gets underway with the first practice session rolling off at 9am Saturday morning. Qualifying is scheduled for 12pm and the first feature race at 3pm.
