Kruseman "undefeated" after 3 "Indiana Sprint Week" races.
Series continues tonight & Thursday through Sunday.

Cory Kruseman of Ventura, Calif. swept the first three feature events in this year's Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week" series, winning races Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at Gas City, Putnamville and Haubstadt, Ind. He will try to continue the "streak" tonight (July 22) at Twin Cities Raceway Park. The series will then resume Thursday through Sunday nights at Lawrenceburg, Bloomington, Terre Haute and Kokomo respectively.

Kruseman caught Boston Reid on the 19th lap of Friday's race at the Gas City I-69 Speedway and led the final 18 laps in his Stanton Racing Engines/American Race Tires Mopar/Kunz to beat J.J. Yeley, Tracy Hines, Jay Drake and Levi Jones. He then led all 30 laps of Saturday night's race at the Lincoln Park Speedway and all 30 Sunday night at the Tri-State Speedway. It marked only the second time in "Indiana Sprint Week" history that a driver scored three straight wins. Jay Drake also did it on the way to the 2000 title.

Trailing Kruseman in Saturday night's race at Putnamville were Eric Shively, A.J. Anderson, Jon Stanbrough and Jones. In Sunday's "Thrifty Nickel Publications Classic" at Haubstadt, Kruseman was trailed by Derek Davidson, Anderson, Stanbrough and Jones. Turbines, Inc. fast qualifiers were Yeley at Gas City and Putnamville and Davidson at Haubstadt.

Practice for the remaining five Valvoline "Indiana Sprint Week" races begins at 6 pm, except at Terre Haute Saturday, where practice starts at 5:30. Racing at each venue gets under way at 7:30.

Thursday night's race is the "Robbie Stanley Classic" at Lawrenceburg Speedway, while the "Larry Rice Classic" is Friday night's offering at Bloomington Speedway. Saturday night's race at the Terre Haute Action Track is the "Jan Opperman Classic" and Sunday night's Kokomo Speedway finale is the "Vince Osman Classic."
