Four states play host to USAC Ford Focus competition this week impacting the point standings in six separate USAC championship standings.
Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Ind. is Wednesday night's venue for a regional "quadruple header" featuring USAC Regional and Kenyon Midgets, Regional Sprints plus the Midwest/Indiana/UMARA Focuses. On Saturday night the UMARA series continues at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, Ill., while the Carolina Series competes at Coastal Plains Raceway in Jacksonville, N.C. and the California Pavement series is at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif.
Kyle Hamilton leads the Indiana standings after winning last Thursday night's race at Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Ind. Hamilton followed Eric Fehrman for 14 laps, then paced the last 16 laps in his Curtis Motor Sales Beast/Ford Focus to beat Auston Harris, Steven Mathews, Julia Landauer and Katie Hargitt.
Michael Mohelski holds a five-point lead over Steven Intravaia in the Carolina series, while Justin Hommel is atop the California Pavement standings, 28 ahead of Alex Bowman.
