USAC Ford Focus racing will occur in Indiana, North Carolina and California as the 2010 racing season kicks into full gear this weekend.

Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway hosts the first Midwestern Dirt event Friday night, while Montpelier (Ind.) Motor Speedway hosts its inaugural USAC race Saturday. The Eastern/Carolina series will be in action at Hickory (N.C.) Motor Speedway Saturday and the Western Pavement Ford Focus and Young Guns will share billing Saturday at the Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway.

Bradley Riethmeyer of Conover, N.C. won Saturday night's 30-lap USAC Midwest/Eastern Ford Focus feature at Lanier National Raceway in Braselton, Ga., leading the final four laps in his Tracy Trotter machine. Riethmeyer passed Scott Hunter on lap 27 and led to the checkered flag to beat Hunter, Nick Drake, Jake Blackhurst and Steven Intravaia. Hunter is the new Midwest and Eastern series point leader. Cody Acton led the opening lap of the race before yielding to Hunter.

Austin Farley of Brighton, Colo. put his Ron Sutton's Winners Circle Ford Focus in victory lane Saturday night at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring, leading the first eight and last eight laps of the 30-lap main event. Teammate Bobby Runyan led 14 laps and finished second ahead of Eli Schrock as the Sutton team swept the first three spots. Bob Brewer and Sutton driver Jimmy Moon rounded out the "top-five" at the finish. Schrock was the fastest qualifier.
