CLARKE LEADS DIRT FOCUSES TO VENTURA SATURDAY; CANADIAN LANGLOIS TAKES IRWINDALE 20-LAPPER

Henry Clarke of Ventura, Calif. returns to his "home track" Saturday to lead the USAC California Dirt Ford Focuses in their assault on Ventura Raceway.

The Ford Focuses will be joined by the USAC Western Midgets and Junior Ford Focuses in the USAC "tripleheader."

Canadian Brendan Langlois of Kamloops, British Columbia, won last Saturday night's 30-lap California Pavement Ford Focus race at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale (Calif.), leading the final 25 laps to beat Alex Bowman, Ian Miille, Justin Hommel and Jeff Oleen. Miille continues to lead the series standings by five over Langlois. Bowman led the first five laps of the feature.

The California Pavement Ford Focuses resume action April 12 at Lucas Oil I-10 Speedway in Blythe, Calif.

Lance Butler was the winner of Saturday's 20-lap Junior Ford Focus race at the 1/5-mile dirt Ventura oval.
