NOBLITT, MARTZ FOCUS ON LAKEVILLE FINALE SEPT. 29-30; MAIN VICTORIOUS IN QUINCY FEATURE

It'll be up to Jordan Noblitt and Tate Martz to decide who wins the USAC Midwest Ford Focus Dirt Midget Car Series title.

The pair finished second and third Saturday at the Butler Battle Grounds in Quincy, Mich., setting up a one-race battle for the championship. Noblitt emerged with a six-point lead after the race, won by Tony Main.

Main led the final 20 laps of the 25-lap race, having taken the point from Adam Kramer on Lap 6. Chett Gehrke finished fourth, while Alison MacLeod was fifth.

Martz was the event's fast qualifier, and he also won a heat race, as did Noblitt. Main is third in points heading into the Sept. 29-30 race at Lakeville (Ohio) Speedway. In addition to Main, Gehrke and Ronnie Wuerdeman each still have a mathematical chance to win the title.
