Billy Wease, Bryan Clauson and Rex Norris III scored feature victories in last Wednesday night's USAC feature events at the Blossom Chevrolet Indianapolis Speedrome as Traderindiana.com and Wheels and Deals presents USAC "Open Wheel Wednesday" continued at the 1/5-mile paved Indianapolis, Ind. track.

Three other drivers, however, will be in the spotlight as the series enters its penultimate event of the 2004 season this Wednesday night. Sondi Eden of Crawfordsville, Ind., Dakoda Armstrong of New Castle, Ind. and Brice Kenyon of Lebanon, Ind. will be out to protect their respective point leads, with 50-lap features on tap for all three competing series. Eden, attempting to become USAC's first female driving champion, holds a 59-point lead over Travis Young in the Regional Midgets, while Armstrong is 12 points ahead of Nick Bohanon in the Kenyon Midgets and Kenyon holds a 10-point lead over Andy Baber in the Ford Focus standings.

Wease, of Noblesville, Ind. led the final 98 laps of Wednesday's "National City Bank 100" presented by Diversified Insurance Brokerage Group, beating Dave Steele, Bobby East, Aaron Fike and Ron Gregory in the 100-lap National/Regional feature event. He drove the Wease Masonry/Burco Beast/Pink Chevy.

Clauson, also of Noblesville, wheeled his 3-K Racing Kenyon car to victory in the 50-lap Kenyon feature, taking the lead from Kyle Nicholas on lap 31. Thomas Hennigan, Jonathan Hendrick, Armstrong and Bohanon completed the "top-five" at the checkered flag.

Norris, of Knightstown, Ind., put his Rex Norris Company/OFI RS Restraint Beast in victory lane in the 50-lap Ford Focus feature, leading the final 22 laps to beat Brent Berry, Brandon Wagner, Stephanie Mockler and Baber. John Mount led nine laps and Berry 19 before Norris took command.
