Tate Martz of Rushville, Ind. led all 20 laps of Saturday night's USAC Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car feature at the South Bend (Ind.) Motor Speedway, becoming the seventh different feature winner in seven series races!

Martz and his Immke Auto Group/Keith Kunz Motorsports Kunz/Ford Focus were trailed at the checkered flag by Brice Kenyon, Patrick Bruns, Derek Crasi and series point leader Robbie Ray. Martz and Kenyon won the preliminary heat races.

The series makes its initial appearance at Jim Mills' Red Hill Raceway in Sumner, Ill. this Thursday night. Mills, a frequent USAC competitor in various racing series, ranks sixth in the USAC Indiana Ford Focus Midget Car standings after five "top-10" finishes in seven starts. A 20-lap Ford Focus feature will be accompanied by Sprint car and Modified racing on the 3/8-mile dirt oval.

Ray holds a 38-point lead over Trenton Darland going into Thursday's Red Hill race. Darland finished sixth at South Bend. Kenyon's second-place South Bend finish left him nine points behind Darland, in third.
