FINAL MIDWEST SPRINT APPEARANCE SATURDAY AS 27TH "4-CROWN NATIONALS" UNFOLDS AT ELDORA

Levi Jones of Olney, Ill. hopes to take another step toward his second Lucas Oil National Sprint Car title Saturday when the series makes its final 2007 appearance in the Midwest as part of the Chevrolet Presents An American Revolution 27th "4-Crown Nationals" at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. A 30-lap feature is on tap at the 1/2-mile dirt oval where the K & N USAC Silver Crown Cars and the USAC National Midgets are also in action.

Jones hopes to improve on his 17th-place finish in last year's "4-Crown." He already has four feature wins this year and leads runner-up Darren Hagen by 104 points in the latest series standings.

J.J. Yeley, who won last Saturday's "New Hampshire 50" USAC K & N Silver Crown race at Loudon, N.H., is among entries for Saturday's race and should be a threat for victory, along with "top-five" point drivers Dave Darland, Brady Bacon and Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Tracy Hines won last year's "4-Crown" Sprint race but is sidelined, recovering from injuries suffered in an early-season motorcycle accident near his home.

The Lucas Oil National Sprint Car Series will follow the "4-Crown" with their annual trek to the west coast for season finales at Perris, Calif. and Phoenix, Ariz.
