Twin Cities Raceway Park in North Vernon, Ind. will host round six of the USAC Dirt-Track Regional Midget Car Series on Friday night, September 15. A 30-lap feature event is planned on the 3/8-mile banked oval. Race organizer Terry Eaglin and the United States Auto Club finalized the event Friday and it was announced to series competitors prior to Friday night's race at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Ind. where round six is scheduled tonight (Saturday), with points earned in USAC's 49th "Hut 100®" being awarded toward both the National and Dirt-Track Regional series championships. A.J. Felker of Jeffersonville, Ind. won Friday night's 30-lap race at Lincoln Park Speedway, passing Chris Coers on lap 28 and leading to the checkered flag in his Pennington-Line Realtors machine. Coers finished second ahead of fast qualifier Clay Klepper, Michael Lang and Greg Lueckert. The victory was the first in USAC competition for Felker. Lang, who leads the series standings, is seeking to land a record seventh consecutive USAC driving title, having previously won five titles at the Indianapolis Speedrome and the 1998 championship at the 16th Street Speedway. Critter Malone led the first five laps of Friday night's race, then Ryan Scott led the next seven before Coers took over on lap 13. <pre> USAC DIRT-TRACK REGIONAL MIDGET CAR SERIES STANDINGS
