WILLIAMS BACK ON TOP OF CRA POINTS
KRUSEMAN TAKES PERRIS 30-LAPPER

Defending Valvoline USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series Champion Rip Williams is back atop the series standings after finishing third behind race winner Cory Kruseman Saturday night at Perris (Calif.) Auto Speedway. Williams takes a four-point lead into an April 16 race at Perris.

Kruseman, of Ventura, Calif., led the final 15 laps to win Saturday night's 30-lapper, boosting him to fourth in the points.

Mike Kirby led the first 15 laps before yielding to Kruseman and his ITI Performance/Sander Engineering TCR/Donovan. Kruseman then led the final 15 laps to beat Kirby, Williams, Rickie Gaunt and Charles Davis, Jr.

Damion Gardner was Saturday night's fastest qualifier but failed to finish the feature event.

Saturday night's race celebrated the 10th anniversary of the PAS.
