FAIRMOUNT, Ind. (July 11, 2007) -- The 2B Racing/Lucas Oil Products Gaerte-Powered Maxim Chassis United States Auto Club (USAC) sprint car team, piloted by third-year sprint-car driver Brady Short, heads into the tough Indiana Sprint Week (ISW) looking to capitalize on the team's second-place finish in the 2006 ISW point standings.

Short, a native of Bedford, Indiana, has the 2B Racing/Lucas Oil Products team in sixth place in the USAC point standings, a mere one point out of fifth place.

"We struggled a bit on the pavement, especially when I wrecked at Richmond," said Short. "Now, we are getting back to the dirt, which is where I'm most comfortable."

The 2004 Bloomington Speedway Modified track champion and winner of the 2006 ISW event at the same speedway is confident that between team owner/chief mechanic Scott Benic and his crew that they have a legitimate shot at earning the 2007 ISW Championship.

"Scott knows how to get the best out of his drivers, not to mention between the Gaerte power and the Maxim Chassis, I know that once I get on the tracks, there is no reason that I shouldn't have a great chance to go to victory lane every single night," finished Short.
