“I'd like to thank Brian Alder and all at BAR1 Motorsports for putting their trust in me to race at the 12 Hours of Sebring,” said Martin. “Brian has a very strong and ambitious program with one of the best engineers in the business so I know the car will be fast enough to win. I can't wait to start work next week with my new co-drivers and team.

Also thanks must go to Larry Foyt for giving me his blessing to race this weekend. Sebring is such a historic race and one that every driver would love to add to their resume, especially a second time around! This race came as a great surprise to me. I was due to have a quiet weekend at home, but now I'll be busy packing for a week in Florida!”

“We are very excited to have Martin joining us for the 12 hour race,” said Brian. “We worked with Martin and Snowball Express at Daytona, and to have him join us as a driver completes the package. Martin’s experience in prototype cars will help elevate our entire teams effort over the course of the week. He is a true professional and we are proud to have him be a part of our team.”

BAR1 Motorsports will compete in the 2014 62nd Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh From Florida with a Prototype Challenge entry.
