Tracy Krohn is unhappy with the time its taking the United SportsCar Racing (USCR) series to release its regulation as the American owner/driver contemplates a change for 2014, according to a report from SportsCar365.net.
“It’s really disappointing that they haven’t given more clarity on the rules as it/s really hard to plan,” said Krohn. “We don’t know what we’re going to do at this point.”
The team has run a Ferrari in the WEC GTE-Am class for two years, and can keep that car or move on to a LMP2 program that can run in both WEC and USCR, which he has expressed interest in previously.
Krohn won’t rule out a move to the USCR, but says that he would be more inclined to run in a series that he knows.
“It’s been a pretty successful championship with good officiating, and it’s a well-organized series,” said Krohn. “Whereas with USCR, you really don’t know what is going to happen.”
