On his qualifying session. "It's not what I wanted, but we're still a half second faster than we'd been before. I had a good lap going, but Butch Leitzinger went off the track and then came back on right in front of me, so we wrote off that lap.

"I had too much anxiety early in the session, but I was more relaxed later, we just ran out of time. We got our best lap at the end after the red flag.

"I really wanted a "Fast Five" for my team so I'll have to make it up to them tomorrow with a top-three finish."
