Notes: Tom Kendall lost a drive belt and his engine blew (while in the lead) Boris Said Spun while in second and then had ignition failure. Paul Gentilozzi got hit by Jon Gooding (first turn) and bent steering. Scott Sharp crashed in practice and started in Picketts car. Car overheated. Jamie Galles pitted and spun to drop a lap back Dorsey Schroeder wasn't really competitive but hung on to finish second. Wayne Akers and Max Lagod ran very well until mechanical failures took them out. These two have a lot of potential.
