Paul Fix and the Royal Purple Jaguar earns "MSD Hard Charger" and "Westward Tools Tough Team" awards at Mid-Ohio Buckeye 100.

When the Buckeye 100 at Mid-Ohio was finished on June 29th, Paul Fix and the Royal Purple Jaguar XKR finished 9th. This is Paul's second top-10 finish in the BF Goodrich Cup Trans Am race series and earned him the "MSD Hard Charger" award. This performance award is given to the driver that improves the most positions from qualifying to the race finish.

Fix Motorsports headed up by Crew Chief, Gary Johnson, won the "Tough Tools/Tough Team Award" this award is to recognize the team that shows the most improvement from start to finish at each of the 2002 Trans-Am Series events. The award offers Westward Tools to the team that win the award.

This will really help the team's objective of moving higher in the championship table with 2-9th place finishes and 1-11th place finish. Extra points are earned for the MSD Hard Charger Award.

The next race is the Marconi Grand Prix of Cleveland on July 13, to be aired on CBS at 5pm EST- LIVE. Check your local listings for details.
