Trans-Am qualifying for The MotoRock Mile High 100 was cancelled today due to torrential rains. The grid will be set based on yesterday's combined practice times.

Pruett will start from the pole position.

Competed several seasons in CART Champ Car Series, scoring two wins...Has two IMSA GTO Drivers' Championships (1986, 1988).

On the cancelled qualifying session ..."Wow, I haven't seen it rain that much in that short a period of time in a long time. It'll make things really interesting tomorrow. We'll go out in the morning on a green track. But then the Atlantics and Champ Car races will go before and we'll have significantly more rubber down for the race.

"We had a good car yesterday, but we still had planned to more a few more changes. I think we would have been in contention for the pole. And I want the pole...I want those records."

Miller, driver of the No. 64 Eaton Cutler-Hammer Jaguar XKR, will start fourth.

On the cancelled qualifying session... "I'm very disappointed that we did not get the opportunity to qualify today. We really wanted to put on a good show for the fans and our sponsor guests today.

"Our session tomorrow morning will basically a time to scuff tires. The track will vary a ton between our morning practice and the late afternoon race time, so we won't make any major changes based on the morning practice."
