FIX RETURNS TO DENVER, LOOKS TO DOUBLE HIS PLEASURE
Buffalo, NY- Paul Fix will return to the Denver Grand Prix as the defending GT1 winner from 2004. Fix and his #77 Stopflex/9 News-NBC /Hotel Monaco/ Drive! Mustang will look to repeat the team's performance enroute to the GT1 class championship.
An early race incident at the last event, the Grand Prix of San Jose, hasn't diminished the team's drive to succeed. "The crew did a great job repairing the car after San Jose," commented Fix. "Everything is back in place thanks to the crew and Huffaker Motorsports and we are ready to pick up where we left off earlier in the season."
The Fix Motorsports Mustang has achieved three straight GT1 class poles and two victories in three events to date in the Trans-Am Series. For the Grand Prix of San Jose, the #77 Mustang started on the overall pole. Fix hopes to duplicate those feats again in Denver.
"I like the Denver circuit. It is challenging yet pretty quick," said Paul. "We come here pretty confident we can get the job done. A double down in the Mile High City is the goal."
