Johnny Miller looks to regain points lead with Cleveland win

Cleveland- Johnny Miller in the No. 64 Eaton Cutler-Hammer Jaguar XKR, currently second in the points for the Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup, earned the outside pole for Friday's US Bank Presents the Cleveland Grand Prix. Miller who earlier in the season won the Lime Rock Park race from the pole, comes to Cleveland following the Infineon Raceway event were he made his first career NASCAR Winston Cup start.

For Miller, whose best finish at Cleveland was a second in 2001, the key to success at the Burke Lakefront circuit is to be patient. "You just have to be patient and run the race. I plan to stay out of trouble and take all the opportunities that come my way. I am here to win," said Miller.

Placed second on the grid for the race, Miller is excited at race day's prospects. With a year of four podium finishes thus far in the 2003 season, Johnny's goal at Cleveland is simple, "I intend to win the race and take the points lead back," stated Miller. Miller has dedicated the 2003 season to winning his first Trans-Am Series championship.

"I am excited about the race. We have a good setup on the car and I know we will be in the hunt," expressed Johnny. Eaton Cutler-Hammer, Miller's sponsor, has a large facility in the Cleveland area. On hand for Friday's race will be a large contingent of employees and Johnny plans to make them all happy.
