USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series: Bobby Gill set three series records as he won the Lucas Oil 250 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Fla. The race was the season opener for the Series.

Gill edged Steve Christian at the finish, winning by a scant .089 of a second. Michael Ritch was third, followed by Chad Mullis and Shane Huffman.

Gill became the first driver in USAR history to surpass $1 million in winnings. The victory at USA was the 19th of his career, another USAR record. It marked the sixth time Gill has won on the ¾-mile track, the all-time USAR record at the facility.

Jason Jarvis was the pole sitter for the race. There were five lead changes.

Goodyear is the sole tire provider for the Series.
