Charlotte, NC, January 26, 2004: ShoTime Motorsports enters the 2004 season with Steve Wallace as their driver to compete in the USAR Hooters ProCup Series. Steve is the 16-year-old son of NASCAR Champion Rusty Wallace. Steve is already an accomplished competitor and one of the youngest drivers in the USAR Hooters ProCup Series, and according to many experts, a future Superstar Race Car driver. Says Steve: "I'm really excited about taking the next step in my racing career by entering into the USAR Hooters ProCup Series". Rusty Wallace comments: "I'm very pleased with Steve's advancement into the USAR Hooters ProCup Series with ShoTime Motorsports".

About Steve Wallace

Steve Wallace, now 16, began racing Bandolero Race Cars in 1998 at the age of 11. In 1998 and 1999, he collected 2 national Championships, 2 Lowe's Motor Speedway Summer Shootout Championships, a Concord Motor Speedway Championship and 62 wins. In 2000 and 2001, he raced Legend Cars at Lowe's Motor Speedway, collecting 3 wins and 15-Top 5 finishes. In 2002, he tested Late Models and started racing Late Models in 2003. Out of his 22 starts of 2003, he had his first win in NC's biggest short-track race, the Elkin 250, and finished the year with a total of 10 Top-5 finishes and 19 Top-10 finishes.

ShoTime Motorsports was established in 1981 by Michael Kurkowski with the objective of building a professional Stock Car Racing Team. The Team competed at various tracks in Ohio in the early 1980's.
