Win nets Huffman points lead.

PENSACOLA, FL -- Shane Huffman used his win Saturday night at Five Flags Speedway to vault ahead into the early lead in the 2003 USAR Hooters ProCup Series Southern Division points standings.

Huffman moved up from fifth in the standings after the season-opening race to first with the help of the win and bonus points for leading a lap and leading the most laps last Saturday in the Jackaroo Sauces 250. Huffman will take a 20-point lead over Stacy Puryear to New Smyrna Speedway in two weeks.

Toby Porter has used two strong finishes this season to sit third with 280 points. Despite almost missing the race due to his accident during qualifying, Joe Gaita was able to finish in the top 15 at Five Flags Speedway and lose only three spots in the points standings tied with Steven Christian for fourth place.
