Sheltra Motorsports Reverts To Backup Machine

For Saturday's TOYOTA ARCA 150

LEBANON, Tennessee (August 8, 2008) - - Sheltra Motorsports currently ranking ninth in the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series championship point standings will revert to their backup machine after slapping the wall with the team's No. 60 Dodge Charger during the lone practice session of the weekend Friday afternoon. The team's back-up machine is the same car they participated with in the open ARCA RE/MAX Series test at Nashville Superspeedway last month. It is also the same racecar that Sheltra Motorsports scored their last top-10 finish in June at Michigan International Speedway.

"I'm not worried, we'll be okay," said Sheltra, who will make his third career Nashville start Saturday afternoon. "The car just took off in the corner and into the wall I went. The damage isn't heavy but enough to send it to the house this weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. We don't have any laps on the backup before qualifying, but it is the same piece we tested with last month. I'm confident that the Sheltra Motorsports bunch will have it in tip-top shame come tomorrow morning to give us a solid starting spot."

Sheltra's fastest practice lap was 30th quickest at a time of 31.031 seconds at 154.645 MPH.
