USAR Pro Cup rookie contender, Tom Pistone, in the Bully Hill Vineyards Ford Taurus posted a 12th place finish in the Jackaroo Sauces 250 at the Florida Speed Park in St. Augustine, FL. The team was penalized one qualifying lap after inspection for the car being too low. The penalty forced the team to start deep in the field. "Every other car picked up quite a bit in their second qualifying lap, I feel that we could have qualified in the top 15", driver Tom Pistone stated.

Avoiding early race mishaps, including one spin to avoid a crash, the Bully Hill car remained relatively unscathed. "There was a lot of bumping and shoving going on out there. No one has raced me dirty yet, so I was trying to drive everyone as clean as I could." Car owner Don Sprouse made the right call to loosen the car up early in the race. This really helped in the handling of the car. "Having someone of Don Sprouse's caliber is a real confidence booster." Pistone added.

The first year team of Tom Pistone and Don Sprouse will be competing in the full USAR Pro Cup Southern Series. Please help support our racing effort through your support of our sponsor Bully Hill Vineyards. Log on to BullyHill.com for more information and giveaways.
