RBR Enterprises and Matt Carter Team Up For 2004

Cerro Gordo, NC. RBR announced today that they will team up with driver, Matt Carter in 2004. Carter, son of Winston Cup team owner, Travis Carter, will compete for the 2004 Rookie of the Year title as well as the top prize, USAR Hooters Pro Cup Championship.

The new car will be unveiled at Lakeland, Florida for the initial outing of the 2003 USAR Series on February 28th.

In 2003, Matt Carter won the Hickory Motor Speedway track championship, finishing 6th in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Racing Series Atlantic Region standings. In 19 starts, he had 19 top 5 finishes, three poles, and 2 wins.

Carter's racing career began in 2000. The past two seasons he has raced in the NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series with a couple of starts in both the UARA Series and the USAR Hooter's Pro Cup Series. Carter finished 9th in his first USAR start at USA International Speedway. He also competed in one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, qualifying 14th and finishing 17th.

RBR Motorsports with crew chief, Mike Hester and driver, Jason Sarvis won the 2002 USAR Hooter's Pro Cup championship; and with driver, Charles Powell won the 1998 Myrtle Beach Speedway track championship, the Atlantic Seaboard Region Championship, and finished 4th in the nation.

Black's Tire Service will remain on as an associate sponsor. Black's Tire is headquartered in Whiteville, NC. With over 75 years of service to the North & South Carolina customer markets, Black's Tire operates fifteen retail stores, a wholesale operation, and a distribution center. The team is still searching for a primary sponsor and other associate marketing partners for the 2004 campaign.
