MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- United Speed Alliance Racing is pleased to announce Advance Auto Parts has joined the USAR family of sponsors for the 2003 race season. Advance Auto Parts will sponsor the Advance Auto Parts Pole Award at all 30 races on the 2003 Hooters ProCup Series schedule this season.

The award will be presented to the fastest qualifier at each race this season. Stacy Puryear won the season-opening Advance Auto Parts Pole Award at USA International Speedway two weeks ago in Lakeland, Florida in a race which featured Advance Discount Auto Parts as presenting sponsor.

"We are proud to welcome Advance Auto Parts as the Pole Award sponsor for the 2003 season," said USAR Sponsorship Director Bruce Baker. "Advance Auto Parts has store locations throughout the eastern United States and the Hooters ProCup Series covers the same market areas. We will be working with their local stores at every race this season."

"Advance Auto Parts is excited about this new partnership with USAR," said Advance Auto Parts Motorsports Marketing Manager Wendy Delano. "The USAR program is strong and competition is always exciting. This partnership will provide Advance stores with good grass roots opportunities on the East Coast and great TV exposure for all of our stores through the network broadcasts."

As part of the partnership between Advance Auto Parts and USAR, local promotional events will be organized at locations nearest to race events throughout the year. Please check your nearest Advance Auto Parts location for promotions and pre-race events leading up to an exciting Hooters ProCup Series race near your hometown.
