Brent Moore looks for career day in Concord.
Concord, NC (May 7th 2003) - Ortec Racing driver Brent Moore is hoping his first USAR Pro Cup race of the season will be memorable. Moore, heads to Concord Speedway after promise testing results leave the team confident as ever.
"We had a really good test at Concord," noted Moore. "This is our first race of the season in the USAR division and we're going for the win." The former NASCAR Goody's Dash Series competitor will pilot the No. 96 Chevrolet Monte Carlo sponsored by Ortec, Inc.

"I am very proud to be driving the Ortec, Inc. machine this weekend," said the former ARCA RE/MAX Series driver. "This crew has put their heart and soul into preparing this car, and I want nothing more to be able to go out and run good."
Despite Concord is marking the first race for the team this season, Brent feels that the team has worked out all the glitches and is ready for the green flag. "I feel pretty good, and the team is ready, now we're waiting for the weekend to come."
Concord is a tight and fast short track, and Moore knows that if he is going to be in contention to win, he has to be around in the end." "Concord is like Bristol Motor Speedway, there's a lot of beating and banging and it's also about survival."
The Pickens, South Carolina native also mentioned "I just want to stay on the lead lap and be around in the end and hopefully bring the trophy home."
Brent, who will also be competing in as many as five NASCAR Busch Series events driving the No. 96 Ortec, Inc. Chevrolet also mentioned that between his young Busch career, he will be competing in as many USAR events as possible.
"Right now, we're heading to Concord, then Lakeland, and then Myrtle Beach, after that it's negotiable."
The former late model driver also explained " The USAR tour is an incredible series, there's a lot of talent in this series, plenty of close racing, and most importantly great fans."
The Naturally Fresh Foods 250 presented by Jennie-O Turkey Store is schedule for this Saturday May 10th, 2003 from Concord Motorsport Park, with the green flag scheduled to wave shortly after 7:30pm and will be tape delayed on the SPEED channel.
