The race was a unique event, as several drivers from the CASCAR Series for Canadian stock car drivers competed. The one constant was Goodyear tires. Goodyear is the sole tire supplier for both Series.

Brian Ross was second to Lindley in the race. Jeff Agnew finished third, Jay Fogleman was fourth and Kyle Shoemaker took fourth.

Lindley won the Sunoco Pole Award a lap averaging 108.444 mph.
