Bullet Racing Say's Goodbye and Hello

Cleveland, Ohio-Bullet Racing would like to take a moment to say a special "Goodbye" and "Thank You" to former team member Kurt Bartley.

Kurt's story of how he came to Bullet Racing was a unique one. Bullet Racing met Kurt and his wife at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport while waiting for a flight to the 2003 Peach State Championship Race. Kurt asked, "How does somebody get involved in racing?" Bullet Racing quickly took his number and called him shortly after the 2003 season ended.

As most people know to go racing at this level takes a huge commitment and a huge level of dedication and determination. It did not take long to see that Kurt had everything Bullet was looking for. Kurt's dedication was extreme. And his commitment unsurpassed. Kurt made a commitment to Bullet and he stuck to his commitment all the way through. Kurt became our rear tire changer and soon became the pit stop captain. Even though he was a rookie he showed his determination and dedication. We had an awesome time with Kurt during the 2004 season with many happy memories and funny moments.

Kurt has decided not to return to racing in 2005 and concentrate on his personal life and family. Kurt will be missed in 2005. Bullet Racing wishes the best of luck to Kurt and his family.

Bud Stepping Down

The 2004 season for Bullet Racing and Gary St. Amant was by most measures a very successful season. To run up front and be a true contender takes its toll on all involved - the schedule is tiring - the pressure is formidable - and yes, the rewards of victory are sweet, but never do they provide rest and respite. Given all of that, Gary's Dad, Bud St. Amant, has decided that he would like to slow down a bit, and turn over the reins of crew chief to a new person. Bud will continue to be active with the team, and he and Ruth will be at all the events supporting their son and the team.

Bullet Racing thanks Bud for all of your contributions in 2004, and we look forward to being with you in 2005.

Crew Chief For Hire

Beginning today, January 4, Bullet Racing will begin to accept resumes for the crew chief position in the 2005 USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series - Northern Division.
