Bill Tomlinson Returns to the ASA Late Model Series in 2005

Bill Tomlinson of Schoolcraft, MI has announced that he will run the full schedule with the ASA Late Model Series in 2005. Bill and his team also plan to run a limited schedule at Kalamazoo Speedway his home track.

Bill gave Tomlinson Racing, sponsors; Trax Automotive Signs & More and Purity Cylinder Gases a good season. Bill ranked 14th in points against over 80 teams that participated in the 2004 ASALMS season.

"Bill has made tremendous progress since he has started racing with us in the USPRO Racing Series" commented Ron Varney Series President. "I believe he is one of the most improved drivers and I hope to see him continue to grow as a racer."

Although the team had some mechanical kinks to work out early in the season, by the last few races they had their car where they wanted it. The team is looking forward to the 2005 season and plan to keep the competition on the run.

Tomlinson Racing will see the return of Signs & More, Purity Cylinder Gases and has added Aluminum Racing Products (ARP) as a team sponsor for the 2005 season.

Bill began his racing at 17 years of age at Michigan's Kalamazoo Speedway in the Factory Stock division, scoring one victory. He competed in the 2003 USPRO Racing Series, finishing eighth in the point standings and was the third ranked rookie
