SUSSEX, Wis. - Ricky Johnson will compete at the Jennerstown Speedway for the second time in his career this weekend. The ASA ACDelco Series races at the 0.522-mile track this weekend for the running of the Pennsylvania 300. Johnson finished 11th in the 1999 event at Jennerstown, while competing for the 1999 Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year title. Johnson looks to better his finishing position this year with the No. 22 Nationwide Auction Systems/WorldBestBuy.com Chevrolet.

"We had a great race at Jennerstown last year despite cutting a tire early," Johnson said. "We look to improve upon that this year. The track is nice to drive on and it should be an exciting race. I look forward to going to a track where I have some experience so we can capitalize and gain over some of the other drivers."

Johnson finished 11th in last week's event at the rain-soaked Toledo Speedway, after handling problems plagued him throughout the race. "Toledo was a decent race for us. We didn't have a lot of practice to get the car set-up for a long run. The car was loose for most of the race and we kept adjusting on it."

Johnson remains 10th in the ASA ACDelco Series National Points Standings, less than 200 points out of the top-5.

The Pennsylvania 300 begins at 1 p.m. EST from the Jennerstown Speedway. TNN Sports will broadcast the event live.
