FARMINGTON, Mo. -- (Nov. 16, 2003) The Racing Association of Mini Stocks (RAMS) elected new officers for the 2004 racing season with Dave "The Wolf" Wofford taking over as the association's vice-president and C.J. Kintz assuming the role as association secretary and Tracy Kelly as the association treasurer. Jeff Mills was re-elected as president of the association.

In other association appointments, former vice president Shannon Burch and John Reando were both named as new tech men for the 2004 season.

The association members gave their approval of making all of the race dates at the Montgomery County Speedway during the 2004 season as RAMS Points Series events. The move will ensure a good car count at the track and will also help establish the new class at MCS. The RAMS will be racing once a month at MCS during 2004.

The date for the 2003 RAMS Awards Banquet was set for Saturday, Dec. 13th. The top placing racers of the RAMS Points Series will be honored. Special awards for "Rookie of the Year," "Sportsman of the Year," "Most Improved," and "Hard Luck of the Year" will be given. For more information on the RAMS contact Jeff Mills at (573) 747-0566 or email at millsey@jcn.net or visit the RAMS website at: jeff.mills.tripod.com/ramsofsoutheastmissouri
