Brian Levant wanted to celebrate his 40th birthday with a win in the NEWALTA Late Model class at Race City tonight. Taking the lead on lap 9, Levant was leading the field with one lap to go when his car began to smoke. Rather than back off, he tried to fend off second-running Bob Balazs but a broken suspension sent his Chevrolet hard into the turn 3 tire wall, handing Balazs his first victory.

Brent Hackl won his first PRO Legends main in over a year, after a hard-fought 30 lap battle with Hugh Williamson and Gary Lister. There were so many LEGENDS Cars on hand that the mains were split between the PRO and SEMI PRO classes. Larry Carlson of Calgary won the SEMI PRO race.

Jason Arams was the Buck's Auto Parts Claimer class winner.
