Budds Creek, Md. -- Although Southern Maryland was happy to receive some much needed rain, it was a disappointment that the rain didn't end in time to get the racing underway at Potomac Speedway this Saturday night.

The scheduled Little Lincoln Cars are rescheduled for August 11. On the program for next week is the 40-lap Budweiser Super Late Model Mike Clore Memorial and a regular program. It is the third scheduled I.T.S.I. event of the season. This event will take place as a special race on Sunday, May 27th. There will be no racing action on Saturday night. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing action starting at 6:00 p.m.

Les Hare currently leads the series with one win to his credit. Allen Brannon is only five points behind still looking for that first victory. Come and watch these drivers and more vie for the $3,000 to win prize.
