Budds Creek, Md., -- The drivers of Potomac Speedway were given the weekend off. There was no racing action this past Friday night as the National Motorcross was in town. The racing will resume this coming Friday, June 23rd. The fifth I.T.S.I. 40-lap $2,000 to win Budweiser Late Model event of the season will take place, along with a 30 lap Gardiner Outdoor Products Enduro race, big wheel races for the kids, and a regular show. Pit and grandstand gates open at .6:00 p.m., with racing starting at 7:30 p.m. Potomac Speedway will end the month of June with the URC Sprints. The Sprints are scheduled to be on hand June 30th, along with the Budweiser Late Models, Coors Light Pure-Street Stocks, Mac Tools Four-Cylinders, and Gardiner Outdoor Products Enduros. There will be no Bell Motor Company Semi-Late feature for the evening. Scheduled for July 3rd is Potomac's annual Fireworks show. The regular show will be on hand.
