It's been a competitive season so far this year with only one repeat winner in the Budweiser Super Late Models after six races. Rick Jones has two victories to his credit while Darryl Hills, James Adkins Jr., Bo Feathers, and Rick Eckert each has one win a piece. Tommy Wagner Jr. leads the point series along with the I.T.S.I. points series but has yet to find victory lane after several second-place finishes.
The next I.T.S.I. scheduled event is on Sunday, May 26th, with the 50-lap $3000 to win Mike Clore Memorial. Carruth Concrete sponsors the event.
Paul Cursey leads the Bell Motor Company Limited Late Models point series with one win to his credit. 2001 Coors Light Street Stock points champion Jamie Lathroum, a rookie this year, has racked up three wins so far this year and is currently second in the standings. Johnny Smith and Sommey Lacey each have one win to their credit also.
In the Coors Light Street Stocks, Bobby Tipton Jr., the only repeat winner so far this year, also leads the point standings. One time feature winner and a rookie in the division currently maintaining the second place points position is Deuce Wright. Other feature winners include Jimmy Jesmer, Bill Tipett, and Ronald Cusic.
Scotty Scott leads the Potomac Speedway Four-Cylinder division in the points standings with two wins to his credit. Linda Wright has yet to take the checkered flag but currently sits in the second position. Scotty Nelson has two wins to his credit also.
In the Arby's Hobby Stock division, two-time feature winner, John Sellner leads the points standings. Only six points behind Sellner in second is one time feature winner Ray Weaver. Other feature winners include Jeff Helsel, Ben Bowie, and Chuck Williams.
The Chesapeake Web Design Bombers have five races in the books instead of six as they weren't able to get the last week of racing action in due to rain. Kyle Nelson and Jimmy Suite occupy the first two spots in the points standings. Neither driver has a feature win yet this year. In the third position is two time feature winner Jerry Oliver. Dale Moore Jr. leads the division in feature wins with three to his credit.
