ST. JOHNS, PA. Afternoon rains forced changes to the racing program for the second week in a row. Officials decided to skip the heat races, using the points handicap to set the feature lineups. Adam Horwith took control of the Modified race, leading the final 20 laps for his first ever win at Pocono Mountain Speedway.

Mike McManus took the early lead from the pole, and pulled out to a 5 car length lead. Horwith was 2nd, followed by John Markovic, Don Wagner, and Doug Yanders. On lap 9, McManus got loose in turn 2, allowing Horwith to slip by and take over the lead. McManus was pressing to regain the lead, and on the next time through 2, ended up spinning and bringing out the yellow.

Wagner had a great restart, and was able to get around Markovic for 2nd. Szapacs was 4th, followed by Chris Ammon. During the a 5 lap green flag run, Eric Beers moved into the top 5, getting around Ammon for position.

The final caution of the race fell on lap 25 with Horwith still leading the way. The heavy rains of the prior 24 hours cleaned off the track, making passing extremely difficult. Horwith led the final 5, picking up the win in the Horwith Freightliner #94. Wagner finish 2nd, followed by Markovic, Szapacs, and Beers.

Paul Koehler Jr took advantage of the restart on the lap 17 caution, grabbing the lead from Dan Balentine Jr. Koehler Jr lead the rest of the way, picking up his 7th win of the year.

The Pro Stocks ran an extended lap feature, with the Frank Greco Memorial. Richie Spaide lead the middle laps of the race, then losing the lead to Jack Cassidy, who lead the way to the checkered. Cassidy lost the win in post race inspection, handing the victory back to Spaide.

A couple of early cautions in the Street Stock feature, allowed Jim Buzinski to move up through the field, taking the lead by lap 4 and leading the rest of the way for the win. Josh Labatch appeared to have his 3rd Factory Stock win in a row, but failing tech inspection gave to win to Mike Odwazny.
